1. Silicon Validation Intern
Location: Suzhou
Vacancy: 1
Responsibilities:
- Apply skills and knowledge in both hardware and software to perform Pre or P
ost Silicon validation tasks for Freescale microcontroller products
- To define the validation plan, and create or execute validation test
- Design and layout the validation board to bring up new system for fresh IC
- Work with other cross functional teams in China and oversea to specify, veri
fy and improve SoC quality and timeliness to production
Requirements:
- Master or Bachelor Degree, electronic or microelectronic
- Working knowledge in C/C++, Makefile
- Big plus with experience in ARM M0, M0+ and M4 based MCU
- Big plus with experience in IAR and CodeWarrior debugger Tool
- With the FPGA development experience is plus
- Fluent in writing and speaking English
- Can work efficiently either in a team or an independent environment
2. IC Design and Verification Intern
Location: Shanghai & Suzhou
Vacancy: 2
Responsibilities:
- Designs and develops digital circuits for Micro-controller (MCU).
- Verification in module level and Chip level; define and execute verification
plan with full functional coverage.
- Involved in the Digital IP design and verification, joins the SoC developmen
t for 8 bits, 32 bits MCU.
- Doing RTL coding, integration and verification.
- Doing simulation in Gate Level, transistor Level (full-chip spice).
- Create function test patterns for testing engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent from Electroni
c, Electrical or Computer Science.
- Well communication and Inter-person skill.
- Good language skill in English, Pass CET-6.
- Have knowledge about EDA simulation and synthesis tool as well as VLSI desig
n flow.
- Good knowledge in Verilog, VHDL, System C or E language.
- Have used EDA tool from Cadence, Synopsis, Mentor digital and/or analog deve
loping
- Have knowledge about Computer Architecture, 8bit, 16bit or 32bit Micro-contr
oller or Micro-processer.
- Prefer know-how of ARM or AHB bus system.

GPU driver software engineer in Freescale Shanghai

belong to GTEC (Graphics Technology Engineering Center) department, is respons
ible for GPU Software driver development for all i.MX series to support the bu

in Shanghai, taking care of the rapidly grow Freescale i.MX application proce
ssor business.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop / integrate the qualified GPU software drivers for i.MX portfo
lio on Freescale reference boards for NPI releases.
• Support Graphics API protocol stack for EGL, OpenGL ES11/ES20/ES3X, Op
enVG, OpenCL, OpenCV, OpenVX and 2D.
• Support OS related Graphics back-ends for Android, Wayland, X11, FB-de
v and Direct-FB.
• Analyze, investigate and resolve GPU issues independently, or with thi
rd-party together.
• GPU pre-silicon development with SoC simulation; GPU bringup and valid
ation in post-silicon with SoC team.
• GPU related support for key customers actively.
• GPU tool development and maintenance.
• GPU contiguous integration framework.
To ensure your successful performance in this role, the following working expe
rience is required:
• BS/MS Degree, EE or Computer Science or related field.
• Very strong self-learning ability, smarter and good persistence for yo
ur task goal.
• Good understanding for Compute Graphics concepts and protocols related
.
• Familiar with C/C++ programming on the embedded OS like Linux or RTOS.
• Experience with ARM Architecture is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Be responsible to core MCU SW design and test for Microcontroller Kinetis po
rtfolio.
- Focus on RTOS porting, driver, stack and bare metal S/W development and test
case design.
- Review SoC specs, SW specs to understand the features and system.
- Design, develop and execute the test cases to ensure the quality of the MCU
S/W.
- Bug fix for the issues in the driver / stack / test code.
- Improve the automation tool and coverage of unit tests on MCU platform.
- Key customer support like feature analysis and issue reproducing.
Requirements:
